The Haunted Roof Repair: A Spooky Rooftop Adventure at Beaumont’s Haunted Hotel

It was a chilly October afternoon when the crew from Monument Roofing Systems received an urgent call from the owner of the Haunted Hotel—an attraction in Beaumont that had transformed the historic Orleans Hotel into a fright-filled experience for visitors.  On this day, the owner had a problem: a small leak had sprung up, and with guests arriving for the evening’s spooky events, it needed to be fixed immediately.

The crew, familiar with the building from their previous work on it, quickly headed downtown. As they approached the Haunted Hotel, the atmosphere was thick with eerie fog and spooky decorations that flickered ominously in the fading light. Costumed guests were already lined up and excitedly waiting for the doors to open.

Climbing onto the roof, the crew began their inspection, but soon noticed strange things starting to happen. A sudden gust of wind whipped through the air and it seemed as if their tools started to rattle in their boxes.. Then, a loud thud echoed from the far side of the roof, making everyone jump. They exchanged nervous glances, wondering if perhaps the hotel’s spooky reputation was more than just a gimmick.

As they continued searching for the source of the leak, a soft, haunting whisper seemed to float through the air. It was almost as if someone was trying to speak to them—but the roof was empty. The whispers grew louder, sending a chill down all their spines.

Just then, the sound of chains rattling came from behind them, followed by a loud clank!  “What’s going on?” one roofer whispered, glancing around nervously.

Suddenly, the hotel’s owner burst through a door at the edge of the roof, his face lit up with excitement. “Hey, fellas! I hope you’re enjoying our rooftop scare experience!” he said, chuckling. “You see, we set up some speakers up here to add to the spooky ambiance for our guests!”

The crew sighed with relief and laughed at the unexpected twist.. After the owner finished speaking, one of the roofers said, “We figured out the source of the leak—it was a small cut near your AC unit.”

The crew made the repair and ensured everything was back in order, all while the eerie sounds of the Haunted Hotel played around them, adding to the ghostly atmosphere.

Once the work was done, the owner thanked them. “You guys saved the day! Now my guests can enjoy a dry, spooky experience without a leaky roof ruining the fun.”

As they packed up their tools and stepped back onto the ground, the crew couldn’t help but chuckle. They watched as the guests entered the hotel, their laughter and screams mixing in the air as they prepared for another night of frightful fun.
